Competitor Pressures?
Example Issues
  • Has your business lost some of its appeal to your customer base?
  • Are your competitors stealing your business?
  • Do they seem to be winning business that you thought you had in the bag?
  • Are you losing what used to be loyal customers?
  • Are you being forced to do more marketing but finding it difficult?
  • Are you having to spend too much time dealing with issues rather than getting on with your business?
Possible Causes
When the pressure is on from your competitors, your business needs to be able to respond without causing you problems. Sometimes the smallest of niggles can suddenly become a major issue when your demands become higher. Some issues can be ironed out without too much difficulty, however, and can allow you to flex to the demands of competitor pressures. Some examples of the cause of these sorts of issues are:

  • You are using old systems or software that is not giving you the best image
  • Your IT is inefficient and is struggling to help you respond quickly and efficiently with customer enquiries
  • Your business processes are awkward or too manual, making it hard for your staff to be efficient
  • You may have outgrown your current IT systems
  • You may need some more powerful marketing tools
  • A minor IT glitch has become a major problem now your business has grown
Our Approach to a Solution
Your IT should be giving you a competitive edge not hindering you at the worst possible time. This is a complicated problem, with many possible solutions, so it is difficult to define an approach that would suit all of them. However, we would always start by spending time with you to understand what you are trying to achieve in your business, and identify what is holding you back. It is probable that there are inefficiencies in your business that will need to be dealt with by putting one or more IT solutions in place, and we would work with you to identify what those are. As with all problems, we would recommend several approaches to help you deal with your competitors, and let you chose which approach, or combination of approaches, you feel the most appropriate.
