Competitor Pressures?
Example Issues
  • Are you losing business because you are not presenting your company in a professional manner?
  • Are your systems unable to cope with your ordering demands?
  • Do you have customer data but find that you are not able to use it for marketing purposes?
  • Are you spending too much time dealing with 'issues' rather than dealing with 'Business'?
Possible Causes
When the pressure is on from your competitors, your business needs to be able to respond without causing you problems. Sometimes the smallest of niggles can suddenly become a major issue when your demands become higher. Some issues can be ironed out without too much difficulty, however, and can allow you to flex to the demands of competitor pressures. Some examples of these sorts of issues are:
  • You are using old software versions
  • Your staff know very little about how your systems actually work
  • Your systems do not assist your business process flow
  • Your hardware cannot cope with your increased amount of data
  • Your different software products are not talking to each other successfully
